Summer is the time for the beach, and I may not be the beach goer myself, as I can't be on the sun without breaking up in hives, I love everything about the beach. If there is thick shade, I could curl up there with a good book, and enjoy the sounds and smells of the water. That is my happy place. Especially if the shade is provided by palm trees, I am as happy as they get.
Today, I have a warm feel of the beach, with warm, golden sand as far as your eyes go, and then that sand disappears in a shallow water full of children giggles... It is almost the end of the day, shadows are longer, and all is aglow with the golden hues... Time of the day when you are sweetly tired of the swimming, sun and and you fell like you are moving in slow motion. Those are my childhood memories of the times spent on the beaches of the Adriatic, and I hope that at least for the moment, I can paint the picture in your mind...
Polishes used for the base are by Color Club Nail Lacquer - I'm a Shore Thing (how appropriate for this look), caramel creme, and Ain't it Grand, gold glitter topper.
Stamping plate used is by Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS-165, gifted to me by my nail friend Maria when we got together few weeks ago.
So much happened since then, it seems much longer.
I stamped the 'sand' with gold stamping polish, then rest of the elements, and loved it until my top coat smeared the red on the life preserver...
I decided that I wanted to have the matte beach, and glossy glitters, and I just love the way of mixed finishes on my nails.
This may not be for everyone, but I just love it.
It is middle of the week already, and it seems like time is flying.
Have a fantastic day, wherever you are.
Cheers!
