Foil stamping is one of those techniques. I love the foil look, but foil always gives me some trouble. If lines are too close, they would look like one solid line, which is not what I am looking at.
As a base I used OPI - Road House Blues.
Absolutely in love how it looked matte.
Halloween is all about dead and mummies, and I had to give it my own spin. All images are from Mezerdoo C16 stamping plate.
There is many ways to die, and for my manicure I used that image of the cobra, stamped with Moyra - FP.01 and multicolor foil first, but image itself was pretty lost, so I double stamped with Hit the Bottle - Moonshine.
I also used the scarab image, and I have to admit it is my favourite on this manicure - I thought it looked awesome with the green foil. Scarabs is dung beetle, and was considered sacred in ancient Egypt.
Last image I used is of the Anubis - one of the oldest Egyptian gods - god of the afterlife and judge of the dead. So fitting to include this god of dead... I stamped image and used silver foil, but it was impossible to photograph and see, so I re-did this nail and stamped the same image using Moonshine.
See, I can make a Halloween manicure that has nothing to do with Halloween all together, but with Egyptian Mythology. Love the ancient civilizations!
This said, I am wishing you a wonderful day.
Cheers!
