After long, cold, grey winter, here comes the spring, and I watch layer upon layer of those little bulbs brining the color and life to my yard...
First are crocuses and grape hyacinth, then come tulips and daffodils, and in the same time, my irises and day lilies start sprouting the first leaves. All this makes for more than 3 months of continuous flowering just on one spot, Than gives the opportunity to other perennials to catch up, and take over where my bulbs are left behind.
This was one of the first tulips from my garden, and I could not wait to pick some up. We been enjoying a bunch of them at the office. I am so glad that I could enjoy their sunny color and fresh scent for the whole week. I never knew that tulips are scented until I grew my own!
So here is my tulip inspired manicure...
I started with Fancy Gloss - Mystery Polish 2019.
I am such a control freak it is really hard for me to give control of what will go into my bag, but most of the time, I was actually super happy with my surprise bag.
This baby is so unusual. It is brick red with blue to purple flakies. It is so pretty! My biggest surprise was how opaque this crelly was. It was pretty much fully opaque in one coat, but as always, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat.
As you could see on the right side of the page, I have another discount code. Less than two weeks ago I become brand ambassador for Moyra. You can click the logo on the side, or the link in my post to get you to the site. For those of you that do not know, Moyra is Hungarian brand that makes stamping plates, stamping polishes, and also have the tutorial site where you can learn skill or two. They also have kits for the powders and foils, even for rhinestones.
I do own quite a few Moyra products, and while I wait for the PR mail, I can use what I already have at home.
For this I used Moyra No.103 Birds Always Sing stamping plate. I have this plate for several years, and used it several times too, so I did not take another photo of the plate, but I did add the link, so you can see it on the site.
While there, remember that you can save some by typing my code SANJAMOYRA in the little box on the checkout.
I went for three images on the plate - two are the tulip images while one is plaid.
decided to go with the simplicity, as my base is very intense, and I picked silver stamping polish. In the end, this had such a vintage vibe, I loved it even more.
Have an amazing weekend.
Cheers!
