I was wondering if any of you started Christmas shopping? Not bragging, but I am pretty much done. Planning and early shopping is from the days when our budget was so tight, there was no wiggle room... I continued with it as it is really nice to have some money in December for whatever I want to do, and not start the year in debt.
Today, I have another freehand design done in more Earthy tones, which is not a norm for me. They also gave me the vintage vibe, and pumpkin pie swirl vibe. You decide which one is more for you.
I started with China Glaze - Skinny Tipping. This is nude with red shimmers, but it has lots of orange undertone for my skin tone. Over that base, I proceeded with painting swirls using following polishes: Be-Bio - Cherry Bomb (pink), Dam Nail Polish - Lemon Curd (reflective yellow), Sally Hansen - Grey Area (taupe) + White On.
I love painting swirls/ribbons of color, and I did like this for a change, but at the same time, I wish I used something more contrasting, with more life in it. That is just a personal preference. What I also like is that every nail looked unique. Main reason is that I can't really decide which layout of the ribbons I like the best... when in doubt - just do them all. LOL!
Last night it started to snow again... hope it will not keep, but my yard was still white from the last snow.
I wish you all a wonderful day.
Cheers!
