I wanted to show step by step how I did this, without plugging you with loads of photos, or tiny collage...
As I mentioned in my caption, as a Base, I used OPI - Be There in a Prosecco. This is perfect dupe for my favourite OPI shade - My Vampire is buff. So kind of OPI to do dupe of their own shade...
What I love the best about this shade is that is perfect canvas for a nail art, without starkness of the white - perfect for little bit softer look.
Using small piece of sponge, I lightly sponged two Color Club shades - dark brown is Fondue for two, and mustardy shade is Je ne sais quoi. I was going for antique look, and somehow. this Je ne sais quoi is my to go to shade for anything distressed.
Using my Clear Jelly Stamper, I picked up images from MoYou London - Scholar Collection 02 stamping plate. For stamping I used my ever trusty Mundo de Unas - Black. I thought those images are perfect for this vintage love letters with nice handwritten letter, and inkwell and of course, few ink splatters... I was waiting for opportunity to use this plate for a while.
As a protection when doing sponging and stamping, I use Glisten & Glow - Ctrl-Alt-Del - pink thing around my nails. I use it only when I really have to, or am too lazy to do massive clean up afterwards. I do have sensitivity to latex, and trying to use it only when necessary.
I cleaned it up, and thought that I am done, but all this looked pretty plain, so boring... and I did what my Victorian lady would do - I had to seal this letter with the kiss - it also added splash of much needed color to this manicure.
For lips image I used Bundle Monster BM-303, and I did have smaller lips images, but I thought about it afterwards... ooopsy....
For stamping, this time I used Hit the Bottle - Poison Apple, wonderful deep red shimmery polish, just like the lipstick stain...
I never made shiny version of this... I reached for my Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat right away... I knew that this one needs to be matte, without any doubt.
I hope you will like this one... oh yes - did you noticed that everything was done on Cindy? So proud of the way she modeled this one.
Thank you for stopping by.
Cheers
