Few cooler days last week were really nice reprieve for the tropical heat wave that made comeback in a last few days... I hear it should be worse before it gets better...
We are almost at the 40*C, so how hot it can get? well, that is yet to be seen...
Todays look is inspired by my almost completely dry out garden. Relentless heat washed out all the vibrancy out of the colors, grass is almost completely yellow, and everything is pretty much bone dry. We are lacking the rain badly, and even sky seem to be bleached from the Sun, so it is the palest blue, with no cloud in the sight.
I was playing with the polishes again, and I used the MDJ Creations - White Fluid Art specialty polish, and it must be heat, as there were little cells developed, but I did liked the end result, so I am not complaining. This time, look is more wispy, flowing - and I love it. You can see some smaller cells on my index finger, but I actually loved this almost marbled look.
Other colors used: Color Club - Been There, Done Matte (navy blue); Sally Hansen - Firefly (rose gold); OPI - Can't find my Czechbook (muted turquoise). I actually love the mixture of cool color tones mixed up with some warmer earthy ones.
As always, I done the decal on my mat, then cut out the decals to place on my nails. This is how this looked before I added stamping.
Images I picked are on Uber Chic - 16-03. You know that Uber Chic plates are one of my favorites. They are almost always the ones I reach for first.
First I stamped with Maniology - Poison (deep green) then with the Soft Sage (light green). You can use my discount code SANJA10 to save 10% at maniology.com.
All was topped with the glossy top coat.
What else to tell you but to stay safe, stay cool, and hydrated.
Cheers!
