I am considering myself a lucky one!
That statement just got better as I opened my parcel. Sweet Victoria also included one of the polishes from the same collection that I missed plus another polish, and some water decal stickers. Had to try them right away, and here is the first look I created using Starrily - Venus.
Venus is gorgeous red to copper color shifting magnetic polish with holographic micro glitters. Those micro glitters are so stunning on the unmagnetized part of the polish - they truly look like a million stars glistening on the dark sky. You can always wear Venus as is, as a multi chrome polish without the magnet. I love it with the magnet, as then you can see all the depth of the polish. It looks like it is glowing from within.
On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats, and I applied the magnet on the second coat. As you can see, two coats are enough for the full coverage, even without the black undies. I was smitten!
This collection is sold out everywhere, but just in case that there is a restock soon, you can use my discount code SANJA10 to save 10% on anything in the store.
I wanted to do something special over this polish, but not really space related...
I was playing on the name, and I have to admit as soon as I read the name, I had a sound track going on in my head on the repeat: "I'm your Venus, I'm your fire, and your desire..."
Did you ever seen the plate and think - Oh, Yes! and then you receive the plate and your balloon deflates so quick... that was the case with this plate. I could not wait to receive it, only to be disappointed when it arrived. Plate has a silhouettes of female bodies and they are actually creating a big, pouty lips... Idea is amazing, but in the reality, images itself are too small and too crowded to use them to the advance. I wanted to do a James Bond kind of look with it, but never used it.
Decided to give it a try, and one thing is for sure, I used the wrong color combo, and my image is totally lost... It was better visible on the Cindy, so you will see that rare shot of both hands at once... Have to admit this was kind of anticlimax here, as I did not like the finished manicure all that much.
I did another one, and liked that one even less... yeah, I was on the roll...
Because I did not want to wait forever with the review, here is the first look, and I will show you the second one on some other occasion.
Happy Monday everyone!
Cheers!
