I love holographic polishes, but I also love me some good crème, and this manicure has best of the both worlds.
I purchased this beautiful navy blue polish on clearance at local drugstore for a song, and I had to grab me few selected colors just before I went on no-buy. I will try to go until April with no- buy, and that may be a challenge harder than you think for someone like myself.
This was the first of those polishes, Sally Hansen - Dark Hue-mor.
As an accent on my index finger I applied Lilipad Lacquer - I just think it's pink! I applied it over the navy blue, and you can see it peaking at the edges... I just wanted little bit of sparkle to brighten up this manicure, and I just think it's pink! gave me plenty of the bling.
Stamping image is from BC-08 stamping plate, that I did not use before, and I love this floral image. Isn't it just amazing what kind of jewels you can find if you go through your stamping plates and look for the image that will speak to you, one that you will re-discover and fall in love with... well, that was the case here.
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle - Psycho Pink. I love how subtle this pink looks over this deep navy blue. Even though this is pretty intense pink, it does not scream at you - fine line made it look delicate.
I also added some pink star shaped rhinestones. I kind of using those generously these days, as I discovered that I was squirreling rhinestones and glitter and studs and nail charms, and have enough for two lifetimes...
This way I will not feel bad for purchasing some more...
As always, thank you for stopping by.
Have a lovely day, and see you tomorrow.
