I wore it to work last week before the Christmas break, and I wore it on two different ways.
Pretty blue glitter crelly is by Painted Polish by Lexi - Makin' Waves. This is such a pretty, fun polish that is great for all year long wear. Small glitters like in this polish are my favorite, and especially in really fun, colorful mix.
Images I used are on Uber Chic - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas stamping plate.
I stamped it with Maniology - Bam! White, and I wore it like this for couple of days.
Simplicity of this look really appealed to me, especially with the fact that at the time, we were surrounded by all sorts of kitsch... I could not handle more on my nails.
I loved seeing this blue on my nails, and I hated the idea of taking it off. Pre-Christmas time is the time of the year when I do not have much free time, so taking it all off, and doing something else was not on my time table. That gave me idea for the next step.
It still looked great after couple of days, so I upgraded it by double stamping part of the design using Kaleidoscope - First kiss. I think that I loved it even more with the red upgrade. This gave me another couple of days of wear.
As you see, there is no shame in upcycling the manicure if there is a time constraint - as long as you did like what you had on your nails previously.
Lately I am going with the same manicure longer than usual - cold weather and nail polish remover will dry out my hand and nails to the extreme, so I make the look I can live with for few days. Even with all of the precautions, I got lots of chips and little cracks, and it seems that I am filing them shorter and shorter every weekend. I actually don't mind them little bit shorter either.
As you can see, I am easy to adapt. When you can't beat them, join them! LOL!
All I want to do is wish you a great week ahead.
Cheers!
