For today I have an ugly Christmas Sweater. Not sure who started the trend, but some of the Nordic Print sweaters are actually quite pretty. I always connect the star of the Isle image with them, and here I tried my hand at layering the above named image.
My cute base is one of my Black Friday purchases that managed to arrive - I still have few packages trapped in mail...
I purchased few polishes from Glisten & Glow, and I had to wear this one as soon as I opened the parcel. I am wearing Glisten & Glow - Mystery Polish September 2020. This is not the new release polish as you can tell by the name, but I was eyeing it for a while, and so glad I took the plunge. It applied really nicely, and I am wearing 2 coats for the full opacity. Thankfully, my parcel arrived during the day, and by the time I came home from work, it had a chance to get to the room temperature. I am really wondering in which state will polishes that I am expecting will arrive. It is bitter cold outside, and at the time that I was writing this, it was -20*C, not including the windshield factor that would bring it few degrees down. We also have a tons of snow. It snowed on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, so we are set, even though I hate that meteorologists are calling for both - more snow and more cold... Brrrrrr!!!
Now this is as good time as ever to pull out those chunky sweaters and try to be as warm as possible.
Image I used here is on Uber Chic - Jingle all the way stamping plate, and I stamped on all but one nail. Later on I regretted covering up this polish, but that means that I will need to wear this pretty polish again.
Stamping polishes used were both by Maniology - Poison (deep forest green) and Bam! White.
Matte top coat finished the look. I loved wearing those the week before Christmas, and I felt really sad to take them away.
Have yourself a wonderful day, and stay warm when you are going outside.
Cheers!
