That does not stop me from the armchair travels either - I can dream of the foreign countries, ones I would like to visit, and some I never will...
Today though, I travelled Down Under - to the Australia.
As a base, I used my untried polish by Masura - Sugar Watermelon.
This is color of the red dirt, I know I seen some in Croatia, but this colored dirt is what I usually connect with Africa and Australia. Isn't it just amazing how our brains work, and would make some connections in our brain that make sense to us, but not necessarily to anyone else.
I have MoYou London - Explorer Collection -04 stamping plate for a long time, and I was always drawn to this kangaroo image. It always reminded me of colorful Australian aboriginal art.
I guess, I was not ready for it, until today that is.
I wanted it to be colorful, and only way I figured how to do it is to stamp it first with white, then using a dotting tool, add more colors. For that, I used Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly, then using different stamping polishes, I applied them over the white stamping. Then I double stamped kangaroo using Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night.
On my ring finger, I only stamped the dots, and that way I expanded the design to match. Design did not quite cover my nail, so I added some dots on my own.
I hope you will like this super simple, yet so colorful design.
Cheers!
