Considering that I live in North America, specifically Canada, I decided to honor the First Nation.
Even these days there is lots of prejudice between Native Americans and all off the other settlers that pushed them from their traditional living areas, and memories of white man forbidding them to speak their native tongue are still fresh in elders... Segregation and schools that tried to wash out their religious believes, culture and folklore form the most vulnerable - the children ...
So much injustice in world... but it is good to be aware of the history and try not to make the same mistakes.
I did gradient using two Glisten & Glow crème polishes: Pumpkin Carving & Pale Ale (orange) and Apple Picking & Antiquing (red). I topped the gradient with China Glaze - Golden Enchantment.
I love this fiery gradient.
I decided to finally try out this super fun stamping plate from Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS - 34.
I loving all of the images on the plate.
Considering that my gradient is pretty strong, I decided to keep stamping palette pretty simple; Black, white and gold for the win!
Stamping polishes used are: Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night, and Snowed in, and Essie - Good as gold. This last one is not a stamping polish per say, but does such a good job, that this is only purpose I use it for. As a matter of the fact, all Essie metallic polishes I own are really good for stamping. It is always good to know when a regular polish can pull double duty. :)
All was topped with Elemental Ward top coat from the Lucky 13 Lacquer. I adore these top coats - they dry quick, smell amazing and do not smear nail art. Win- Win - Win situation all around.
This is it for me for today.
Cheers!
