It all started well, but then I was "fixing" it, and it just went down the hill from there.
My pretty purple base is franken polish I created with use some of the glitters and pigments I have kicking around. It changed few times before I settled on this. I named it Twinkle, Twinkle.
If you look at the bottle, you will know exactly where the name inspiration came.
Then I picked up my trusty brushes, and started painting.
Just imagine going to the woods to pick your own tree. Personally I never had that experience, but I did seen it in a movies. Sounds so romantic and so old fashion, I believe I would love it...
Idea was to just paint couple of branches covered with little bit of snow, and snowflakes glistening in the background light like the fairy dust... Sounds great! Easy-peasy...right...
In hind sight, I wish I just left the first version of this... I was not happy with the pine needles color, so I kept adding layer upon layer until I knew there is no redemption here...
Then I added some iridescent glitters which sparkled like crazy in person, but were really shy when was the time to show off. Needless to say, this was off of my nails as soon as I took few photos. If I was able to sit little bit longer, I would probably try other version, but that did not happen for me.
There is always a next time.
My physio went well, and my therapist was super pleased with the progress. I was so proud of myself until end of the day. I was hurting all over, and then I remembered I did not take my Tylenol... Needless to say, I was totally wiped out when I came home, just ate a bit and straight to bed.
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
