Did you ever noticed how closer we are to the Christmas, there is less of nice people out there? Huge majority of the people is caught up in the "making the holidays perfect" that in the process they really do not care how many people they will crush in their wake. It is like their lack of planning and proactive behaving, it is all somebody's else fault! What happened with accountability? What happen to the kindness? When did we all become so self centered that we are blind for anything that is further than our nose? Future like this is surely not what I imagined for my children or even future grandchildren.
Enough of me ranting here, I wanted to show you one of the first Christmas manicures I did this year. I done this couple of weeks ago. I felt like a fluid art, so I did some patches on my mat. Ended up applying the full decal on the thumb and pinky, and rest of them I cut up in the strips wide enough to cover up half of the nail. Polishes used were mostly by L'Orelal. I really loved the color scheme here. I freehand some lines using the same gold and cobalt blue polishes I used for the fluid art.
Then I reached for the older plates - they rarely get any love these days. Those plates have plenty of single, smaller images that are great for combining, or using them like this.
Images are on Maniology (Bundle Monster) BM-318 stamping plate.
I double stamped Christmas ornaments first with black, then with gold. I really loved the results.
We are at the middle of the week, and that means another week of work before the Christmas break! Yay!
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
