As always, group had an inspiration photo, and I stayed true to the colors - which is surprise, but what is not surprise that Little Miss "extra" had to add the gold, because she needed some sparkle! LOL!
I started with L'Oréal - True Gold, gold glitter topper I used as a base.
Then I freehand the swirly lines with one of the Mermaid Tail brushes ( 11 mm liner brush) I received from NailStuff.ca ages ago. Love those brushes, and they are easy to spot on the mess of my desk... I did add a quick link to the product, and if this is the first order from NailStuff.ca, you can also use my one time 10% discount code SANJA10 that is also good for the items on sale.
For lines, I used following polishes: Sally Hansen - White On + Blue Rose, and Born Pretty stamping polishes in Gold + Orange. Those are older stamping polishes, and are not as opaque as I would like them, but they are perfect for decals or freehand. I already have them on hand, so why not use them up. I am good in using up what I have on hand, even though that does not stop me from purchasing more... maybe just slows me down a notch... maybe...
All was topped with glossy top coat, as I felt those needed to be shiny - I did need a sparkle there, so we are all good with the sparkly and glossy here.
I loved this, even though I did not know when to stop... this is totally not something new for me, but whatever, I just go with the flow, and those are flowing. Loving the contrast between orange and blue, and gold and white just provided an extra light focal point making those appropriate for the Summer, and whole color scheme is also great for the Autumn.
See, you did not know that I can actually plan for the future... LOL!
This is short and sweet post, and I will stop now while I am still ahead!
I hope that week will be kind to you all.
Cheers!
