Long time no see... Lately, I have a really hard time to sit for any period of time, but also to feel inspired to write. By the end of the day, when I actually sit down to write, I am wiped out, and have zero energy, so there may be the days I will not fire up my computer.
It seems that we celebrated beginning of this year just few days ago, how it is possible it is February already! Yesterday was Chinese New Year, so welcome to the year of the Tiger!
Of all the animals, tiger included, I went for the tortoise shell pattern. I only tried to do it once few years ago, and this is my second attempt. I used several polishes of different opacity and finish, and I quite liked the outcome, especially when I stamped the same pattern over it.
I love mixing the cool and warm colors, and blue/brown combo is one of my all time favorites.
Super pretty blue/grey crelly with different shapes, size and color of the glitter is by Anchor & Heart Lacquer - Good Night Miller. On my ring finger, I just did a strip of tortoise shell - sort of inlay...
I absolutely loved this look glossy. I love how the colors look together, and how they compliment each other.
This is how I wore this manicure one day...
I added cuffs first using the Essie - Say it ain't soho, which I also used in the tortoise shell design.
Then with Born Pretty - Gold I added some more... It appeared that I just could not stop myself. I loved this too, but totally unsure if I liked this more or less... you decide for yourself which version you like more.
Have yourself an amazing week.
Cheers!
