There is also a truth that my textured polishes got neglected for a long time, so we have a two flys with one swap... or something like that.
I have almost a perfect match in textured and regular polishes, so I decided to use them together.
Both of them are in mustard color that you either love or hate, and I always am rooting for the underdog. All of those ugly-pretties found a way to my polish stash.
Awesome texture is by Deborah Lippmann - I wanna be sedated, while regular polish is by Color Club - Je ne sais quoi. Textured polish have just a smidge of the green in which is more visible when bottles are side to side, than it was on the nails.
Just try to imagine: You are in the jungle, trying to fight your way on non-existent path, when all of the sudden, there is a movement. You sense it even you do not hear it, blood pumping in your ears so laud, you think you are on the megaphone, and then, just few feet a front of you, your eyes finally picked up that elusive movement, and you realize that all of those shadows you been seeing in a past hour were no shadows at all, but a one big tiger. You stop in your tracks and try to hold the breath, and stand still thinking that you will become invisible to him. You don't know that predator picked up your scent as soon as you entered its territory, and now it can smell your fear too. What you do not know that he had a huge meal minutes before he picked up your scent, and he followed you just out of curiosity. Now, he is enjoying this power play, it is just a game for him, something to pass the time, and when he gets bored, he will leave so he can digest his meal … how lucky for you.
Both images are on Cheeky Jumbo N stamping plate, and tiger stripes were stamped with DRK Nails - Extra Black, while bamboo is double stamped using Messy Mansion - Forest and Moyra - SP.15 (light green).
I applied matte top coat over the Je ne sais quoi.
