Today is Thanksgiving in USA, and I want to wish all of my southern friends happy Thanksgiving.
This whole year was not really kind to me and my family, but in all of that hardship, you can actually see who are your true friends.
Some people will shine as bright as a guiding stars, while some will just scatter around and move on.
I am thankful for all of my starry friends, and some of them I never met in real life, but they came through for me at the time I needed the friend, or just someone to talk to... some of them made an effort to cheer me up with their colorful, beautiful and mostly purple manicures and posted them on Instagram under the tag #weloveyousanja. Those little tokens of caring and kindness are the ones that help me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some of the family members that were not as close also been like my beacons of light, and helped me through tough preparations for funeral...
I am thankful to be surrounded by love and I am thankful for my boys.
I prepared this manicure for Canadian Thanksgiving, but never came around posting it, so I jumped at opportunity to be a part of the collaboration with this manicure.
As a base, I used super pretty Celestial Cosmetics - The Blood is Life.
On the swatches above, I am wearing two coats and no top coat.
I was really hell bent on using this cute turkey image from What's Up Nails A011 stamping plate. I decided to spread the image onto three nails.
For stamping, I used Esmaltes da Kelly - Douguito, Tigar and Leo. I also added some Esmaltes da Kelly - Hawkeye over the body of the turkey just because I could...
I also used my dotting tool to add some eyes, but my proportion was little bit off, so it looks like one of the little beady eyes started to twitch when she realised what will actually happen to her today... I have only few words of wisdom for the little fella - Run little turkey, Run!
Have a wonderful day, enjoy your meal and count your blessings.
Cheers!
