I did not used textured polish in a while, so here is one using some textured polish, but let me start from beginning.
Wonderful navy blue crème is one of my older polishes by Essence - Absolut Blue. I didn't wear this one in a long time, long enough to forget how smooth application of this polish is, and to top it all, one coat was all that took for a full opacity.
Because of that, I tried to use it in this manicure for stamping, but unfortunately, did not stamp that well...
Textured glitter is Julie G - Sleigh Ride, and is also one I did not use in ages. For this one, I applied two coats for a full opacity.
All images are from Mezerdoo 29 round stamping plate. I ordered set of round and rectangular ones while ago, and even though some images are pretty cool, images size vary to a great extent. For example, image on my index I actually had to stretch to fit. It would not even fit on my pinky!
For stamping over Absolut Blue, I used Mundo de Unas - 68 Sky blue. I thought that matched perfectly with the textured glitter. I wish I stopped there. I was so happy the way this looked, that I wanted to stamp with navy blue over the texture.
Well, that did not go that well. After Absolut Blue did not stamp that well, I also tried Ya Qin An - Electric blue, but that one was also too light for what I had in mind.
I had to pull contingency plan, and I just stamped with MoYou Nails - White over the blue stamping on the textured polish. If you squint, you just may notice faded blue stamped under the white...
Regardless the setback, I kind of enjoyed this manicure. It has such an summer feel to it, despite the dark colors I used.
Lately, I am drawn to dark colors, and I seem to have a problem with transition to a brighter shades...
Ah well, that will come pretty soon I hope.
I wish all of you wonderful day, and if you are on the holiday, blue skies all the way.
Cheers!
