Now, I can only hope this would work for you too.
I still have quite a few polishes to try in my untried pile, and this beautiful crelly was calling my name. This baby came in Bluebird Lacquer Advent Calendar. This is Bluebird Lacquer - Let's Get Bliztened.
You already know that I am trying to get to Spring as soon as possible, and it is no doubt what was going through my mind when I was doing these... but let's be real - if this polar vortex does not ease up we will not see the spring any time soon... surprise! It snowed again last night...
In any case, I picked up the Lina - Swirls & Twirls 02 stamping plate, and decided to use it.
I have the first plate, and I am glad that I got the second one too.
On my ring finger, I stamped the hamming bird, and on the other nails I stamped the swirls using Maniology - Ultra Violet.
This looked great, but I kept on adding... I decided that those swirls needed some dots, so I picked slightly lighter pink shade by Colour Alike - Spring Crocus.
Immediately I picked Moyra - SP.12 to add a smaller dot over the pink one...
What I got in the end reminded me of bleeding heart flowers. Those are one of the flowers I plan to add to my garden this year, and will hope with all my might that will take.
Love gardening, even though I might admit that my thumb is not always green. Sometimes, no matter what I do, I just can't grow certain flowers. That makes me unhappy, but here and there I surprise myself with the random choice that I end up loving in the garden.
Way back, there was a symmetry in my planting, but over the time, one side would take off lavishly, while other would just die off. Naturally, next year I would not find the exact plant to replace the one that did not take, so in a few years rigidity and symmetry kind of lost its appeal. Now I plant whatever I want, in which ever color, and if it grows - YAY!
I might make my garden sound huge - in reality it is small, but when it comes to the weeding it seems enormous. I guess it is all in a perspective.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
Cheers!
