I did stop for a while there because of the joint pain, but I felt better and this year I made five different ones... Four for myself of course, and one for my son.
On the photos below, you can see tiny little bit of the first one I made this year. I never made this particular design, but last year I did something with pattern similar to this.
I started with super pretty Painted Polish By Lexi - Honeydukes Hount. Love green flakes suspended in light grey base. Some of the flakes color shift to yellow, and some into gold. I ordered me some new shades from Lexi during Black Friday sale, and can't wait to get them.
Perfect green for stamping that matched my sweater so nicely is actually regular polish by Dimension Nails - Amazonian Manatee. Loving Stephanie's creme polishes they are so nice and opaque, and they stamp like a champ. This is a good thing, especially if you are not quite as crazy as myself and one polish can pull double duty.
Image is on Nicole Diary - L13 stamping plate. I added little bit of white to brighten the whole design.
Love knitting or as you already know all the fabric inspired designs, and there is no secret that I absolutely loved this.
I would not mind a sweater in this color combo... I am expecting surgery on my wrist in couple of months, and I may feel inclined to do more knitting this year. Hoping for the best, especially because I was forced to postpone this surgery several times due to autoimmune disease and medication I have to take for it.
It is almost end of the week, and I am so happy for it - my joints are aching so badly because of the cold, and secondary, I have a office Christmas party tomorrow. Yay!
Have a lovely day.
Cheers!
