With warmer weather, beaches around here are full of swimmers, paddle boarders, kayakers, dippers, soakers, boaters and all others in between.
I was feeling creative last weekend, and wanted to do something different, and different this is.
I started with super pretty B Kind - Grenouille. Perfect emerald green if I know one!
It is really hard when you are feeling "extra" but find out that your supplies are super limited, and missing what you want...not that I am short on any kind of supplies...
I recently received May's Plate of the Month Subscription from Clear Jelly Stamper, and plates arrive in pretty iridescent zip bag, and I used that bag, or should I say cut up pieces of that bag to stuck them onto my nails. This was insanely pretty, and my photos do no justice to it. Those little pieces were color shifting from gold over green to blue, and they looked like a surface of the water. Unfortunately for me, those pieces did not really lay down flat, and were lifting up, but I was not giving up. I knew I had to do something water related, and decided to use the plate from May's Plate of the Month here.
Plate is exclusive to subscription and it can not be purchased otherwise. Plate is by Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS PMC-103.
I picked few images, but due to uneven surface (even though I used specialty top coat to even it out, some of the images were not transferred perfectly, or I ruined them by pushing those "shards" down...
Despite all, I will go easy on myself, as once again, I step out of the comfort zone. I tried to use what I had available on hand, and what I used are not necessary the nail art supplies. What I wanted to show here is that you should never stop experimenting, as you will never know when experiment will be success. If everyone would always go down the well travelled path, there would not be a progress or new inventions. I will not tell you that yesterday my Summer Mystery Box arrived with iridescent foils in, so now I have to try to do this all over again, with the different design, of course!
Message of the day is - never stop dreaming and never give up trying.
Cheers!
