Continuing with the Autumnal theme here, and today I have some pretty sunflowers.
As a base, I used super pretty Cirque Colors - Bonbon. Such a pretty shade of pink, and currently wearing really similar shade from a different brand, but more coral.
I guess, I like this kind of polishes - they look like a jelly, so squishy, but with loads of flakes that make it fully opaque in 2 easy coats. When weather changes, I love to wear intense, borderline neon colors on me in effort to at least on my nails there is bright, warm color that makes you feel like it is not cold in the morning on the way to work...
Sunflower image is on Born Pretty - Spring Garden - L008 stamping plate. I made several decals and I tried to use different colors for the center and petals, as there is so many varieties of sunflower, especially the smaller ones used for bouquets.
All of those are growing in across the street neighbor's yard. I never grew them, but they sure look so pretty, and stay good looking for a while. I might give them a try one of these years...
I am also really growing on the pink/orange/yellow color combo, it gives me all the warm, fuzzy feels.
I though they are perfect for the transition from Summer to Autumn, but they are also great this time of the year, when we are harvesting all the fruits and vegetables and getting them ready for the long, dark and cold days ahead.
Have yourself an amazing day.
Cheers!
