This is my little attempt of portraying the Summer garden, with fewer flowers, but with much more butterflies than are currently in my garden...
I paired shimmery Girly Bits Cosmetics - On the nice list with neutral creme by Color Club Nail Lacquer - Hashtag Sponsored. I thought they go together nicely.
Even though I was going for the pale color scheme, have to admit that this was not really my cup of tea. I love deeper, stronger, saturated colors, and this was just too anemic for my taste.
For that reason, I had to add little bit stronger colors to flowers and butterflies, to make them more of the look I prefer.
I used layered images from Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS LC-03 stamping plate, using many different polishes, from different brands. This was more like what I wanted to achieve, and in the end, I loved how this came together.
Some days I think I know what I want, and even though I started as I wanted, pale nude was totally not my mood, so I added some color with stamping. Other days, I start with the nails and love the start, then I mess it up... in any case, you learn to trust the process.
Nail time is "me" time, it is like a meditation, sort of like a therapy done while polishing my nails. It is my time to unwind, and time to reflect, or just not think or worry about anything else but the creative process itself. Many of the choices are done without thinking, just getting from the point A to point B, and some days I wonder how I got there, as my mind was somewhere totally different.
Living proof of my name, with the head always in the clouds, daydreaming.
I am wishing you all amazing day ahead.
Cheers!
