As you can guess, nothing came out of my planned yard raking, and yesterday we had little bit more of the white stuff.
Despite all, here I am with another look that is more Summer than Winter. LOL! This was done for the collab on IG, and I loved the succulent theme so much.
Every time I see the succulents, I think of my mom. She loved them and they loved her back. Her blooming cacti were legendary, and certainly the envy of the neighbors. She had them on the balcony during the Summer months, and many times we would have people knocking on our doors asking about flowers there.
My magnetic base is by Sally Hansen - Red-y Response. One would except something more red but I did not name it. This collection came out quite a while ago, I would say at least 8 years ago, if not more. I do have almost all polishes from that collection, if not all. Initially I only got one, then I came across them years later in the Dollarama of all the places, and I picked up all the ones I did not have.
Sally Hansen did a great job on them, with really strong magnetic response. I used straight magnet, even though each of them came with the wavy magnet on the top of the cap.
That was really cool from Sally Hansen to provide the magnet with the polish. Essie came out with similar idea (different pattern of the magnet on the top) around the same time, and I think I have one of the Essie's polishes in my collection. I don't think that I appreciated magnetic effect at the time.
Images I used are layering images from MoYou London - Botanical -09 stamping plate. I got this plate for the layering images, then promptly forgot about it.
I used quite a few stamping polishes here, and ended up loving the snake plant the most (on my ring finger).
Color combo was also making me swoon, especially contrast between the base and green of the plants.
I will continue dreaming about the Spring, and wishing all of you a great week.
Cheers!
