Few years ago, I received some jellies from Melissa of MDJ creations, and when I was reviewing the collection, I am pretty sure that I used this red for the strawberry design.
Well, it was the time to revisit the MDJ Creations - Britches Please. As you can see, in two coats, this red jelly is pretty much opaque, or just so.
I was going for the depth, and was pretty pleased with index and middle finger, when I decided that I wanted to do Kawaii... Not that I did many manicures with the theme, but I am especially bad in doing it... So my Kawaii strawberry ended up pretty scary looking, and after many layers I just gave up and let it be. It seems that I forgot the major rule - Keep it simple!
Of course, I had to have the prop to match, and props you can eat after you are done with photos, are my favorite.
I am pretty proud of my ever increasing freehand designs. It takes a lot to get out of your head, and do things out of your comfort zone.
It really does not matter how good or how bad you are. Practice makes perfect, and with practice you will get more confidence, and things will get better (well, at least I hope so). In any case, I do have plenty of stamping plates to fall back onto. LOL!
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
