Gorgeous magnetic base is by Masura - Gold Rose. In the bottle, this pretty polish looks olive green, but on the nail looks so much better - fresh green with light, platinum magnetic strip. It looks gorgeous glossy and matte, so I decided to mix up the glossy/matte look into this Valentine and Valentine's mash...
My layering could be better, but with time, I just learned to roll with the punches. I accepted the fact that we all have a good days when all is going better than we hoped for, and the days when there is lots to be desired. Beating yourself about this just adds to the stress, and I have plenty of that in my day to day life, no need to add if not neccesary.
Image of the cute robot is on Harunouta - L004 stamping plate as well as the image on the index finger. Why adding the robot? Well, someone had to have a steampunk heart, and robot came to mind.
Steampunk heart is on MoYou London - Steampunk - 02 stamping plate.
All images were first stamped with black, then I did a gradient using Kaleidoscope - First Kiss, and Maniology - Satin Blush. Lightest grey I used for the robot as well as base on my index finger is MoYou London - Frosted Lake. Colors here really complimented each other, and It was a while since I did a stamping gradient, and these two colors blended so nicely.
I really loved the look of this, even wore it to work. I also remembered the cute steampunk ring that can also be seen as a heart shaped, and that perfectly matches the theme here.
I could not resist but having the pretty two colored carnation as a prop. Carnations, with their scalloped petals, always gave me the clogs kind of feeling, especially mini carnations I have in my garden. There will be few months before I see any flowers in my garden. There is still at least a foot of snow in my yard, waiting for the warmer weather to melt.
I had a busy Saturday, full of household chores, so I plan to rest today. I hope all of you will have a great weekend.
Cheers!
