I have a question for you: did you ever find yourself purchasing the same thing over and over, only to discover you have quite a selection at home already?
For my late husband, that was tea... I still have about 30 different kinds of tea at home, and none of us is really a tea drinker...
For me, it seems to be a sheer white polish. This is extra unusual as I don't even like the sheer look on me. So far, I could not came up with the reasonable explanation why I have several bottles at home, so I decided to pull them out of their hiding space, and I decided to use them with the polishes that may stain over the base coat. This will also even out the surface of the nail, and would make the visible nail line somewhat less visible...
I used it under this gorgeous Anchor & Heart Lacquer - Desert Paint.
This was one of the Polish Pickup exclusives from April 2019! On the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and top coat.
This is such an intense color, I love it!
I will not look for the reasons why I wanted to enjoy the brightness of this polish uninterrupted.
I decided on the minimal design, from Uber Chic - Flourishes & Ornaments stamping plate, stamped with Maniology - Bam! White.
This was actually exactly what I was looking for, but you should know me by now, I needed just a little touch of something else... I reached for the box of studs, and I added a silver stars...
All I could think of was: Sheriff is back in town!
When I was doing this, I was actually thinking about one of the challenge prompts, which was shooting star. I was coming empty handed in the inspiration department, but as soon as I added stars, my brain connected the dots... sheriff wears a star and the gun, and has to be good with it... and in my head little light bulb went on - the shooting star!
As an afterthought I realized that this was really long shot... so decided against posting it at the time and for that prompt. As you can see, it did not stop me for long. LOL!
In any case, I am craving some super bright polishes lately, so you can expect to see quite a few in the weeks to come.
Now I will bid you all a good bye, and see you tomorrow!
Cheers!
