This was idea behind this design, but somehow, it ended up too subdued, in a color scheme that I totally did not planned, but ended up really tone on tone...
My only saving grace is the contrast between crème and metallic polishes.
Nude crème base is by Color Club Laquer - DM Nudes. I have love/hate relationship with nudes... love to see them, and I keep purchasing them, even though only few shades that I own actually look good against my skin tone. Just for the record, I did like this one on me.
Images I used are on MoYou London - Holy Shapes - 05 stamping plate.
For stamping gradient I used: Maniology - Satin Blush, and Hit the Bottle - Gilded Mystique + Espresso Martini.
I really did not planned this to be tone on tone, but it is what it is. I needed some contrast and went with double stamping with black and white. I did achieve the contrast, even though everything is still very monochromatic... That image is also on this plate. Lately I just use the same plate for the all images I plan to use. Makes my life much easier.
This was on my nails for couple of days, and even now I am not really sure if I like those or not. It was surely different look for me.
Blues would be more suited for the Monday blues, but this was also the manicure that I dedicated to my dear friend Leonie, as it is her birthday today.
Happy birthday Leonie, and many happy returns.
To all of you I wish a wonderful, and easy week.
Cheers!
