That is the reason why I have spring like manicure at the end of September... not that I am much of season appropriate gal. LOL!
Yes, I did not loose my marbles, and apparently I am not quite done with all the leafy manicures quite yet. Expect more to come in days ahead.
Real truth is that I did this manicure about two months ago, but never did have a chance to post it.
This manicure is the mixture of the stamping and a freehand.
I started with light grey base by Genailish, color C097. This is one of the gel polishes I purchased on AliExpress.
Using Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly, I stamped image from UR Beautiful -04 stamping plate. I figured that this would make a pretty base for something, but I was not inspired at the moment.
I decided do little bit of freehand using both - nail polish and black acrylic paint.
I actually liked my thumb the most, even though I did not plan on it. I done it as an afterthought. I noticed a green smudge, and I decided to camouflage it with a bit of the leaves... isn't it just the funny how less you try, things get better.
This was totally case in point.
For some reason this made me think of spring, and hence reason for the spring like manicure at this time of the year.
Another truth is that you can never go wrong with a floral manicure. Floral used to be my favourite, then my taste changed, and I started favouring flowing, swirly lines, and now I am all about geometric design and angles...
Like everything in life, your taste changes - you may still love the same things, but your taste buds evolve, and start liking the things you did not find attractive before.
I heard that everything goes in circles, so it will be nice to be reacquainted to the old friends.
I am wishing all of you wonderful, stress free week.
Cheers!
