Theme of the box was "Let the sunshine in" and for the end I saved the manicure I liked the best, done using all but one item from the box.
First, I did a gradient using all three Hit the Bottle stamping polishes: Lemon Meringue Fizz (yellow), Apricot Sour (orange/peach) and Bubble gum Bliss (pink).
For gradient, I used one of those gradient sponges so conveniently provided in the content of the box. This was my first time using the gradient sponge, and I have to admit, it beats holding that sponge in your hands and always messing up the opposite hand nails...
This was no mess when it comes to sponge, but I always do lots of mess around my cuticle... Despite using the liquid latex I manage to make enough mess that clean up takes way more time than manicure itself, which is annoying. I also have sensitivity to latex, that as a stage one dries out my skin, then comes redness and hives... that must be the only reason for not doing gradients so often.
Here is how this stage looked like.
Considering that this was Spring box, I wanted to do something Spring like with the content of the box, and considering that I used one plate twice already, it was the time to try out other MoYou London stamping plate that came in the box.
Ruffian look is not something I go for, but I really wanted to use those images in fun, and little bit different manicure.
I went with another Hit the Bottle stamping polish for stamping, and this time I used Emeralds are forever. Can you tell this is my favourite stamping polish brand?
I wanted something that will be noticeable, and also contrasting, so green, actually metallic green seemed as a good choice. Using the striping brush, I did a line to separate design a little.
