I wore this manicure last week, and really loved it.
As a base I used the thermal polish by Masura - Spirit Of The Forest, which actually prompted me to use the images related to the name of the polish itself. Thermal effect is not as dramatic as I like it, but it is a beautiful polish nevertheless. When very cold, then it is little bit darker than you can see on my photos. Red to gold color shifting shimmers are then mainly red, which makes the polish look almost a brown. When it is warm, it is brighter green, and shimmers show more of the gold side. I did not capture the transition the best, so I am here with some kind of in between color.
For this manicure I could use my new stamping plate by Lantern & Wren - Wild About You 1, which I picked up during the Polish Pickup event month or two ago. Plate is full of the woodland animals, and I purchased it because of the wolf images. I really can't say that I have many wolf images, and ones on this plate are really amazing. There are some images that have almost the vintage quality, and I really looking forward using them.
I did many layers here - trees in background, and foreground, and animals in between. My moose placement was not the happiest, and was really hard to take the photo where you can see both animals. It does not help that I have small nails, and I wanted to place most of the animal on them. In retrospect, I wish I placed the animal images differently, , so they look like they are looking at each other... You know how that saying goes - foresight is always 20/20.
All was topped with glossy top coat I love how all this came about, as I wanted only to use metallic polishes and the black one.
I hope your week will get better as it goes, and that you stay warm, safe and healthy.
Cheers!
