As a base, I used Painted Polish by Lexi - Gone to plaid!
Last couple of weeks, I am actually wearing lots of dark polishes, more suited to Autumn or Winter, than Spring.
In many ways it is hard to believe that this is the last Sunday in April!
Gone to Plaid! was almost fully opaque in one coat, and on the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat. Second coat gave it more depth, which I love so much.
Image is on Lina - Make Your Mark 03 stamping plate. You heard old adage that everything is in the eye of the beholder, and I taken that to heart.
Concentric circle image looks more like a bail of hay, which would totally not work for me, but today, same image is here to be a Spider mum.
I triple stamped this image: first with the Hit the Bottle - Apricot sour, then with A vermillion to one, and lastly I added Manilology - Monarch Dream (use code SANJA10 to save at Maniology).
I guess I did not need all three layers, but I did not care for the first one, second was not really visible, and then last one made it actually match my floral prop.
Can't explain why I did not use it to begin with.
It just show you the state of my mind. With the death in the family, as well as the heavy days prior to it, I did not really think clear.
I hope that you will spend the quiet, peaceful and pleasant Sunday surrounded by the ones you love and care about.
Cheers!
