Here is the manicure I never thought I will do, but one that justified purchase of the plate long ago. LOL! Isn't it just amazing how things always come to a full circle.
Reason for the speed racing themed manicure is my friend Diana. She loves her Indie team, and goes to the races every opportunity she gets.
It is her birthday today, so I was part of the collaboration to join her celebrations.
I started this racing manicure with Beyond the Nail - Ghost of Christmas Present.
On the strong light this looks like a silvery white holo, that on low light would show off ghostly blue shimmers. I wish that shimmers are more pronounced, so they would show in the photos too.
For images I used Konad m-106 stamping plate. I purchased this plate long time ago at Nail Polish Canada. I used it once for geometric design, but I am really glad I got to use some other designs on this plate.
For stamping, I used Mini Mani Moo - Black, Hit the Bottle - Snowed in and La Femme - Vermelho (red) and Amarilo (yellow).
My knowledge about this sport is non existent, sans Nikky Lauda - legend of racing that suffered horrible burns to his body in the crush long time ago... I could not even came up with the time frame of the accident, that how little I know...
I know I could of Google it, but I was just too lazy for it.
In any case, I did manicure that I thought resemble the theme we were going for.
It is finally Friday - very busy and trying week, and yesterday's irregularities at work totally threw me a off of my balance.
We have slightly cooler weekend ahead of us, thanks heavens, so I will enjoy it as much as I can.
I am wishing you all a wonderful weekend, and wherever you are, drive carefully. Roads are full of tourists that may not be familiar with your town and their erratic driving can make other drivers on the road short fused. My motto on the road is - better arrive few minutes late, than never! Give yourself enough time for the travels, no matter how short distance you need to cover.
Cheers!
