Today is International Women's Day, day when many countries around the world finally did gave some missing basic rights to the women.
In that honor, I wanted to show you something feminine, and what is more feminine than lace.
Add some glitter to it, and you have super girly design.
Lace may not the seen often on my nails, for one reason - I usually have no idea what to do with those images.
However, this is super simple lace design, one I wanted to wear on my nails for while.
I started with super sparkly polish by Dip into Pretty - City Lights. I did received this polish for the review years ago, and recently I came across it, and decided to wear it again... I remembered how sparkly this one was way back when I wore it last time. Kind of like sparkle of the glitter through the lace.
Image used is on DRK Themes Enlaced. This plate is in my possession for a long time, and every time I see it, I decide to use it. There is huge amount of lacy images there, sadly, most of them would look great on the long nails. As you can see, I was sporting the shorties when I did this manicure couple of weeks ago. My nails grow really fast, and they caught up in length where I was before I chopped them down.
More often than not, when you wear glittery base glitter will take over, and will mask anything you stamp over. Considering that image I picked was really fine lined, I decided to double stamp (well, that was a surprise) first with black, then with white. Stamping polishes used were both by Maniology - Bam! White + Straight-Up Black. I purchased both stamping polishes myself, but you are more than welcome to use my discount code SANJA10 to save 10% on your stamping essentials at maniology.com. I placed the links for your convenience.
Have to admit, that I loved this very much. All was topped with glossy top coat because I like the sparkle of the glitters with glossy finish.
I truly hope you got to spend a nice weekend with your loved ones, and that your inner batteries are recharged and ready to get you through yet another week.
Have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
