As you can see, sparkle on this one is absolutely insane. As I mentioned then, newer polishes are so much more reflective. I am not sure if that is because more of the reflective glitters are used, or they have different base that allows the glitters to shine much brighter. There was no special tricks needed to show the glow of this polish, just my regular lighting. That said, this one was pretty sparkly even in a low light. This is so fascinating to see.
To finally give you the info about the polish I am wearing - it is by KBShimmer - Say it ain't Cilantro. Love everything about this polish. It seem to be sheer in the first coat, but was fully opaque in second one. Love the soft color too.
With the polishes that have tons of glitters you may have textured surface that may require multiple top coats to level, and I am once again glad that I purchased Glisten & Glow - Glitter Grabber. This is special top coat that self-level nicely, and require just one more coat of top coat which I added after stamping to seal the manicure.
As I already said at the beginning, this was Polish Pickup (PPU) exclusive, which means that it is not available any more, but KBShimmer just released brand new collection with the tons of reflective polishes, and there were couple in previous one.
I placed another PPU order last week, but I don't think there will be another one in a while. Shipping doubled since January, and really does not make it worth it for me. I will have to do with the Canadian exchanges, and regular releases of the indie brands. My go-to are NailStuff.ca and Harlow & Co.
Both are quick, with great service and shipping is more than reasonable. I always had more than pleasurable experience with either one of them. I also have a discount code for NailStuff.ca - SANJA10 which will save you 10% on your first purchase.
Back to my Star sign look. This seem to be popular choice when it comes to the challenges I am usually participating at.
Once again, I did my star sign - Taurus, and actually, very similar to the one I did month or so ago.
First I used metallic green stamping polish to stamp image from Creative Shop - 10S stamping plate. It seemed to be really appropriate image, even though you can't see much of it.
On my middle finger image I stamped over is smaller, and optically looks like it is going away, deeper in the sparkly universe.
On my ring finger however, image is bigger and looks like this bull just crushed in and galloping towards us. Those two images are on Mundo de Unas - MdU Zodiaco stamping plate.
Those images are stamped in black and white.
I changed some hardware on the drawers in my bedroom, which included lots of measuring, drilling and manually screwing in the new drawer pulls. That was pretty much all I accomplished yesterday, but I am really happy about it and that is what counts.
Hope you are all ready for the new work week.
Cheers!
