I love strong, intense color, which can be also dark... so here we are after brightness of yesterday, mysterious darkness of the weekend...
Believe it or not, but I had this gem stashed in my drawer before ever trying it, and after seeing numerous swatches, I decided to give it a try. This is Zoya - Olivera.
Olivera is different from that crowd. First of all, loving the color - deep navy with emerald green shimmers. What is not to love there!
Secondly, this baby is one coater. I wanted to see what would second coat do, and second coat gave it somewhat more depth, as she needed any help. Did I mention I love it?
I was really reluctant to cover this beauty up. This winter I am all about nudes, and I have several in my 'to be posted' folder, so when I came across something so rich, I truly could not wait to share it with you.
I also am trying to cut down on my untried stamping plates, and considering length of my nails, I really have a hard time picking the designs I could actually fit on them.
I used images from Born Pretty BP-49 stamping plate.
Anyhow, this plate was in my untried stash, so I isolated one of the gem images, and star flare ones too for super simple, elegant look.
For stamping I used my favourite gold - Maybelline - Bold Gold. I had to have this sparkling gem posted on the first weekend of this year.
Wishing you sparkly, and restful weekend.
Cheers!
