With that in mind, I have a special honor to introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Snowman. This is the only time of the year we can see them, and only time to celebrate wonders of the winter - should we call it Winter Wonderland... Mrs. Snowman is always overshadowed by her handsome (for snowman standards anyhow) and famous husband. This was actually his idea - he wanted to show the world that behind every successful (snow)man, stands a (snow)woman.
Base I used for this manicure is LynBDesigns - Jubilee.
On the swatch above, I am wearing two coats and no top coat.
Images I used are on SPH-003 stamping plate I purchased on Ali Express.
I picked up the image using the Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night, and made decals that I applied on the nail. I also used the first snowflake image to stamp on my pinky and index.
For snowflakes I used Hit the Bottle - Snowed in - name is so appropriate for the snow themed manicures.
All was topped with Wet'n'Wild - matte top coat.
All in all, I did not completely hated this manicure, and that was a big bonus.
My nails always seem to be shorter at the beginning of the year, it is quite predictable as a matter of the fact.
I was pondering upon that and realized that pretty long natural nails and winter do not mix and match. I live in climate with the cold winter, and cold would make your nails more brittle than any other time of the year. I also wear mittens, that may be slightly bending those tips creating a very fine, hairline cracks that eventually cause some breakages...
I did shortened them a little, but then I suffered few breaks in the same day, and they got even shorter... so if you see the ever decreasing length, blame it on the cold winter.
No matter what, I will enjoy the length as long as I can.
Back to work today, so wish me the luck and strength, as I am still not 100% healthy here.
Cheers!
