Considering where I live, I guess I should get used to the sight, as there will be many months before I will see green of the grass...
It just seemed really appropriate to have this post for today - snow owl to go with the fresh snowfall.
I used the color scheme that usually do not agree much with my skin tone, but some days I like to take risks, and play like I do not care... or it is I dance like no one can see me.
I used to polishes for the base - beautiful Zombie Claw - Fire & Ice - terracotta red with some pretty flakies and scattered black glitters. It is really pretty. I received it few years ago from the lovely Anya from Lucky 13 Lacquer, as this polish was part of the duo with her polish. I guess this was the fire, and Anya provided the ice.
On index, middle and ring finger I applied Bliss Polish - Sand. This Indie maker moved to different road, and is not making the polishes any more. Too bad, I really liked them. This nude may not be the best match for my skin tone, but it is nice to have some nudes to choose from, even if they are not your cup of tea.
Images I picked are on two different plates. Owl image is on BC24, one of the plates I purchased at Aliexpress while ago, and I am pretty sure the whole plate was rip off, but it is what it is, and now I used it at least once!
Leaf images are on Lina x kombucha_witch collaboration plate. This is actually a layered image, and just once I did not use it for the layering - I did a decal, so I could use the Fire & Ice to fill it in, and make the cohesive look.
All stamping was done using Maniology - Straight-up Black.
Today is remembrance day, and I really did not plan this well, and did not prepare my usual poppy manicure. When I was doing one of the reviews, I freehanded something that reminded me of the poppy, but I doubt I would post that one... maybe one photo here. See, my poppies are blue, and I did not want to be disrespectful to the people that gave their life so I could comfortably sit at my desk and paint my nails or do whatever I want to do.
Plan to take some rest that is so needed, that I could barely stand straight yesterday... so slow day and reflection is what doctor prescribed.
Hope you will have a wonderful day, where ever you are.
Cheers!
