Today I have some pretty monstera leaves, and I cold not wait to share this.
My super pretty base is Different Dimension - So long, and thanks for all the fish.
I am glad that color shift is green to red, as I already own few with red to green shift.
Shimmers are making a big comeback in a nail polish world, and even though I adore color shifting ones, even regular, pearl like polishes are part of many Autumnal collections this year.
It was surprisingly opaque, and on the swatch above, I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat.
I also tried stamping with this one, and stamped really well over the black. Another double duty polish - gotta love that.
Image I picked is on one of the stamping plates that I received in my June Mani x Me subscription box by Maniology. Plate used is Maniology - MXM033.
I love Maniology plates, and I use them with them for years - pretty much since they started (they started under the Bundle Monster name), and have a majority stamping plates they ever released!
I also have a special discount code SANJA10 that will save you 10% off of your purchase.
Boy, am I ever chatty today.
On the plate above, one image jumped at me from the moment I seen it - that huge monstera leaf. I knew that I need to use it ASAP, and here is what I did with the image.
You can see that this image is huge and there was no way I could place the whole image on my any on my nails. Even my big toe is not big enough for it. LOL!
In the end, I just placed the parts of the image on my nails, and first I stamped it with Maniology - Straight-up Black, then with La Femme - Verde Perolado.
I loved it just the way it is, and then something possessed me to add a dots in a color that is not green - big mistake! It took away from the sharp, simple look I was craving. Well, there is always a next time to do it better.
This is all from me today.
Cheers!
