Wow! where to start here...
Color wise, description on the site said charcoal, but this is not your run of the mill grey - there is lots of warm, brown undertones, if you can see them under all of that holo. Just look at that flare!
Next thing I wanted to address is the brush - absolutely loving this brush! I get annoyed with tiny, skinny brushes, that require 10 passes over the nail - which would cause bold spots and streaks... Not this baby - brush would spread with the little bit of pressure, and you could do a nail in one brush stroke! I love it. By adjusting amount of pressure, your brush stroke can be as narrow as the brush itself, or it could be as wide as your nail. Sally Hansen has similar brushes for comparison- flat and wide.
When I mentioned that you can cover your nail in one brush stroke, I meant this literarily. Shine in the dark is opaque in one coat, but I always use two coats. Again, there is not fault with that, and unlike first holographic polishes from Born Pretty, this one does not require black base. It is amazing.
Considering that this polish performed so well in one coat, I tried to stamp with it - you know how much I love double duty polishes. I will not just tell you that this polish stamps amazing, I will show you!
I just can get over how great this look over the black - that rainbow... heart eyes all over this.
And just look at the swatch.
I had to do the stamping over, and for that I picked image form Floral design plate BP-L053, Item #36311. I stamped with Clear Jelly Stamper and Mundo de Unas - White.
