Couple of weeks ago I was in a mood to play with some of my many pigments/shimmers that I collected over the years. Way back when I got them, it was all worn mostly over the black, but now I want to wear them over all the colors.
Here, I used Ciate London - Sugar Plum, pretty light lilac crème polish I got in one of the Ciate Advent Calendars years ago.
Over this, applied some shimmer, and to be honest, there was no name or number here, so I can't even tell you where did came from. All I know is that I loved the effect.
Decided to use some animal prints and images, and snake came as a choice... I think that is because I have so many snake rings for some reason, I wanted to showcase some... Let's just go with that story.
Animal print is not what I do often, so from time to time I feel like I should do some. Most of the time, I gravitate towards the same animals. I truly can't say that snake is my favorite animal - quite contrary. I just like to play on my fears, to get them out of my system.
All images used are on Esmaltes de Kelly - EDK Blended stamping plate purchased while ago at Polish PickUp.
Stamped with MoYou London - Galaxy stamping polish, and I wish I used the creme polish for stamping. All the shimmer was really hard to photograph, even though it was really pretty in person. I even wore it to work, I loved the shimmers so much.
As an after thought I added some gold and shimmery blue accents - I wish I remembered to do so before I stamped the images... Look would be much cleaner.
I am off today too, and really plan to rest, maybe even try to paint my nails, even though my hand is not much for it yet. It was really smart of me to give myself a gel manicure before the surgery. That way I don't need to worry about chipping or going with bare nails - perish the thought!
Have yourself an amazing day.
Cheers!
