When he learned to read, he would stare endlessly at the same books, and he was able to recognize the sharks by the silhouette...
Another thing - You might think twice before taking me to the holiday, or joining me on one... Few days ago, I had a killer octopus encounter, and today I run into a bloodthirsty shark... hope you are ready for the bloodbath!
I started with the Polish Pick Up exclusive for the April/19. and was the high time to try it out.
This beauty is by Colores de Carol - Balloon Dog.
First of all - what an amazing color. It looks red in a bottle, and it looked pretty red on the swatches, and that is why I purchased it, but it has loads of the gold shimmer that makes it look rather burnt, or blackened orange, and it appears like it is glowing from inside. Totally unique in my collection, and I do not have anything even remotely similar in it. I am also fond of the random flakies within the polish, that gave it even more special of the look.
Goes little bit sheer, so I am wearing three coats and no top coat, and I love it!
Image I used is on UberChic - 2-03 stamping plate.
I really love the early sets, as they show quite a diversity of the images, even on the same plate.
I used the shark image from this plate, and I made it into a decal.
That was just a beginning. I was having a million and one idea going through my head, and I had to pick one that I actually can realize.
Instead of subjecting you to lots of my freehand, I decided to use the lettering from the Lanten & Wren - Flight of Fantasy (another Polish Pick Up exclusive), and I stamped it with Hit the Bottle - Snowed in from the My Mani Box I received for review from Beautometry ages ago.
Eventually I did add some of the freehand - little bit of boiling sea around frenzied, blood thirsty shark.
My top coat did some unfortunate smears and what nots to the shark head, and it looked like there is a blood smear around the jaws... maybe this was fortunate after all...
Anyhow, be a shark and take a big bite of the Friday, as Saturday is just around the corner.
Cheers!
