That is evident in today's manicure, even though I have to admit, I actually loved the color scheme here.
You know that I love the ocean, and ocean themes, so seashells is one of those and lifted my mood. I usually do them over the lighter colors, but doing it over dark color, actually made them look more like they are fossils rather than your regular beach finds...
I started with deep navy blue by Color Club Nail Lacquer - Made In USA. I recently purchased the big, 28 polish cube, and this is one of the polishes that were in the box. Great, easy to apply formula with full opacity in one smooth coat. Over that, I applied matte top coat, and when top coat was dry, I stamped over using metallic and duochrome stamping polishes.
Seashells images are on Ejiubas - EJB-X02 stamping plate, and I am glad I finally used those seashell images.
Stamping polishes used were : Hit the Bottle - Magma Opus (Copper to green duochrome), MoYou London - Purple Haze ( purple to green duochrome), Essie - Nothing else metals (metallic pink) and Blue Rhapsody (metallic blue).
I loved this so much, I could not stop looking at the color shift, and Magma Opus is especially showy today.
Heat wave is getting stronger by the minute, and I am already missing the rain, so stay cool, hydrated and safe, wherever you are!
Cheers!
