How are you all doing? Yesterday was my first day back to work, and I have to say it was the good one. It was like going home - One of my bosses played prank on me from the first minute I was back, and starting your day with a healthy dose of laughter is the best possible way to make rest of the day enjoyable. It was nice to be with my second family, and even better is the fact that today we are starting with the long weekend... it is a Family Day in my province. We are just making sure that I would not be overworked right away. LOL!
On one of the last sales at What's Up Nails, I purchased few polishes, and one of them was the polish from candy themed collection by Cirque Colors - Tutti Frutti.
I was pleasantly surprised with the coverage, on the swatch above I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat. You can see how smooth surface of the polish is.
Considering that tomorrow is the Valentines, I just went with the classic flowers for the win.
Say your soul mate that you love her/him with the bouquet of flowers. Even though the rose sales go through the roof around the Valentine's, any flowers can say I love you, and care about you.
This love for the flowers can easily be spilled to my garden, and its mix of different flowers, shades of them, size and shape. All the fragrance and all the beauty that mother nature bestow upon us every Spring. Oh, guess who is rooting for the spring here. With last nights -18*C of bitter cold, I truly can't wait for the warmer temperatures.
Because this color is so intense, I went with super simple stamping. For that I used images from SG-11 stamping plate I purchased years ago at Ali Express, and Maniology - Straight-Up Black + Bam! White stamping polishes. I lined the lettering almost too perfect so black is barely visible, but trust me, it is there.
It just downed on me that Chinese New Year was just couple of days ago, so this brilliant polish can do a double duty as a look for the Year of the Ox! To the year for LOVE!
Cheers!
