Ah well, better late then never! LOL!
To be honest, I did this month or so ago, but never got around to post it... in the mean time, my nails grew a little bit, but that does not matter to me.
As a base here, I used one of the older magnetic polishes by Essie - Snake it up, and it is possible that I did not mix/shook the bottle enough, so magnetic stripe was really shy in showing up... That did not bother me much, as it seems that older I got, easier for me is to go with the flow... I guess that is the silver lining I hear about - you just stop sweating the small stuff.
Images I used here are on the Uber Chic - Mermaid Life 2 stamping plate, and it was also a long time since I used it.
For stamping, I used my trusty Winstonia - Silver Bullet, silver stamping polish, and B. Loves Plates - B. a Blueberry. Lately I am reaching very often for the B. Loves Plates stamping polishes, particularly the crèmes - they are nice and opaque and bright even against the dark background.
After I was finished with the stamping, I added some blue polishes to color in my pretty mermaid. She looks like she is playing with the blue ball, and I loved wearing this.
I find that dark polishes look especially pretty on the short nails, and here my nails been shortest in a long while.
I love all the lengths of the nails, but personally favoring the shorter styles. I find them more practical, as I do need to work for living, and do not have a housekeeper. I also find them more feminine than two inch talons - most of the time I find them unappealing...
Of course, like everything else, this is just a personal preference, and you should wear whatever you like or want.
Heat wave is still going strong, so be safe, and if you are somewhere near the big body of the water, take one dip for me too.
Cheers!
