Yesterday I ventured in my garden and dead headed most of my plants. All my roses are totally burned, and all were cut down. My hydrangea is pretty much cut down to the ground, but I did see some fresh green coming from the bottom, so there is the hope for the recovery.
I was going through the photos, and I found the photos featuring my gorgeous climbing rose, and I decided that if I can't look at my beautiful flowers outside, I can post the photos with them... it is almost the same.
As a base for this manicure I used one of the polishes that were trapped in the drawer, and were not used in a very long time.
I used the Models Own - Sun Hat. This is soft neon, and all the photos of the polish alone were so hideous, I deleted them. This happens with me from time to time.
Image I used is on Uber Chic - Secret Garden 2 stamping plate. I was actually going for the matchy-matchy look with my rose.
First I stamped with purple, then I double stamped with the white. I wanted to have little bit of contrast, but I still wanted to keep it light and bright.
I stamped two nails, but felt that I need something more here.
I decided to go with the "shadowed" polka dots, which I first dotted with purple, then with the white polish using the dotting tool. So easy, and so visually pleasing.
Even though majority of my manicures are glossy, I decided that this one needed matte top coat. My top coat of the choice was by Lucky 13 Lacquer - We're all matte here.
This is it from me - you take care of yourself, drink lots of fluids, and try not to be much outside, especially if you are in the areas that are affected by forest fires.
Cheers!
