When I seen images on this Creative Shop stamping plate 12, I knew I had to use them together. Images are first and fourth in the bottom row.
Frist image in the bottom row reminded me of tiled rooftops in Europe, like the red terracotta tiles of my home town. Other image I used is also very typical of European towns. Houses that look like they are growing out of each other. Great thing about it is that in the summer time, they would provide you with a shade if you decide to go for the walk.
The biggest cultural shock when I moved to Canada was space. All that space! I remember my husband driving me home from airport and all I could see was space, strip of highway in the middle of nowhere... all I kept thinking was - what happened to the people? Where are the people?!?!
After crowded Europe, this was like Mars to me...
I started with a gradient done with Sally Hansen - Gray-t Escape (nude) and Society Ruler (purple). Now, I wish I used white instead of nude - I thought I would like this color combo, but I was not keen on it in the end... it did not excite me...
For stamping, I used Clear Jelly Stamper, and first I stamped using black - Hit the Bottle - As Black As Night, and then I double stamped with Maybelline - Bold Gold.
Topped with Sally Hansen - Big Matte Top Coat.
This is it from me - have a wonderful day.
Cheers!
