I had to chop my nails today almost to the quick, as they were in such a bad condition, and I managed to brake most of them during my everlasting bathroom reno. I have a good news - floors are down - I cut and screwed all three layers of the flooring, laid the tiles, and today I was sanding drywall and adding another coat of mudding... This project has a really optimistic prognosis, and I might have it done before Christmas.
All of that construction was not kind to my hands, especially when you are to numb to even pay attention. My pre-made manicures will tie me over ( at least I hope so) until my nails have at least some overhang... I will not hold my breath, as it seems that all of my review parcels coming in a steady stream right now...
Back to manicure I wanted to share with you today.
I just could not stop playing with Sinful Colours Hypnotic Transforming Top Coats, and I made some decals on my mat, using couple of them: Rebel Rebel (Indigo blue) and Purpunk ( Lilac), with addition of another Sinful Colours - Dancing nails (coppery red) that I purchased exclusively for the name and Color Club - Je ne sais quoi (mustard). OK, effect here was amazing! I got so many cells and colors seemed to be made for each other. Who knew that lilac and mustard are such a great color combo.
Final result reminded me of puddle of water with some leaves in it, and raindrops disturbing that image so you can't really see the shapes, just glimpse of the color under the surface.
And what is the best activity on the rainy day, than to be wrapped up in a warm blanket with a cup of coffee and a good book, so here is my blanket and some fall leaves against the purple sky...
Image of leaves is on Creative Shop 24, and as a base I used China Glaze - In a Lily bit.
Image was picked up using DRK Nails - Metallic Brown, and I filled in decal using Je ne sais quoi, Dancing Nails, Hit the Bottle - Poison Apple and Esmalte da Kelly - Leo.
Lined design is on Clear Jelly Stamper CjS LC-02, and for stamping aside from clear jelly stamper for easy positioning of individually stamped lines, I used following polishes: Hit the Bottle - I Lilac it like that, Poison Apple and DRK Nails - Metallic Brown. All of that on the base of Je ne sais quoi.
Thing is, those lined nails I loved the most. I will really have to do something really similar really soon. I know I say that often, but really rarely pull through.
I will let you be now, and see you soon.
Cheers!
