Today, I have a fun, funky rainbow paisley design.
I started with stunning Different Dimension - Mystery Prototype 150.
Love the bright color, and all the flakies! So much depth in it.
For this I used a stamping plate with my own design, that I named paisley swirl. This was the design I submitted last year for CYO plate contest by Maniology.
Plate is Maniology - M091.
Even though I imagined this totally different, I did not hate the results.
I started by stamping the image across the nails using the Hit the Bottle - Snowed in. This was because I wanted colors to pop against this intense green base.
Next step was gradient stamping using following: Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa (yellow), Ulli (red); LaFemme - Verde (green); Hit the Bottle - Orange You Excited and Kaleidoscope - Fuchsia.
Loved this colorful look that brighten the gray morning.
That is when the final layer came on. I stamped over with the black. This was such a stark contrast to the soft rainbow look of previous days, but I loved it. I still had a burst of color, but this time there was the black to anchor it.
I hope you are holding on, and keeping your sanity in this trying times.
Have a safe and healthy day.
Cheers!
